CALL FOR ENTRIES

Colors in Art: Voices Soft and Loud

We perceive color when light bounces off of something and it gets reflected back in our eyes. BUT COLOR is so much more than visible light spectrum wavelengths. Color can serve as influencers: to evoke emotions, get reactions, or to challenge thinking. But how artists use color, the juxtapositions for effect, and how the viewer responds are ripe for exploration. So  – –  do you speak color?

The Belvedere Tiburon Library Gallery invites you to submit up to three artworks – any medium except sculpture or photography – that demonstrate your color play.   We look forward to your submissions.  Our exhibitions gain significant exposure with widespread marketing in San Francisco and Marin.
